The Hospitality Asset Managers Association names its new board of directors for 2025. The board is comprised of 11 asset managers in the hospitality investment industry, representing a range of backgrounds and ownership groups.
The 2025 board of directors are:

- Dina Winder, Highgate, CHAM – vice president
- Emily Miller, Atrium Holding Company, CHAM – membership chair
- Kerry Gaber, Host Hotels & Resorts – treasurer
- Justin Epps, BARINGS – marketing chair
- John Paulsen, hotelAVE, CHAM – industry chair
- Nele Breitbart, CHAM – international chair
- Adam Tegge, Ashford, CHAM – education chair
- Sarah Gulla, Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, CHAM – 2024 president
- Carly Thorp, Rockbridge, CHAM – diversity, equity and inclusion chair
- Matt Basiliere, Southwest Value Partners - at-large board member
“As the incoming president of HAMA, my focus is to continue to elevate the discipline of professional hospitality asset management globally, promote the importance of the Certified Hotel Asset Manager designation and leverage the collective strength of our members to add value, drive performance and enhance returns for hotel owners that are represented in HAMA," Sorensen said. Sorensen is the CEO of CHMWarnick, a provider of hotel asset management and advisory services for owners, investors and lenders, bringing over two decades of experience to his role of president of HAMA. He is chair emeritus of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants and serves on numerous other preeminent hospitality industry boards of directors. Sorensen is part-time professor and regular lecturer on real estate investment and asset management at some of the top universities in the United States. He is often a speaker at hospitality conferences and has co-chaired three editions of the preeminent publication on capital spending in hotel real estate, ISHC CapEx: A Study of Capital Expenditures in the Hotel Industry.
