Casa Cipriani to enter Miami market

Private club experience Casa Cipriani will be expanding to Miami with a property that will include a 40-key all-suites hotel, as well as 23 luxury residences of oceanfront on Collins Avenue.

With established locations in New York City and Milan, Casa Cipriani Miami is being developed by a joint venture between the Cipriani family, New York’s Midtown Equities, Miami-based 13th Floor Investments. Midtown Equities partnered with Cipriani to develop the first Casa Cipriani in the U.S. in New York City at the Battery Maritime Building in Lower Manhattan.

The 17-story Casa Cipriani Miami tower—designed by New York-based architect Brandon Law—is designed to embody timeless elegance and luxury, with a signature restaurant and club lounge, a Cipriani Spa and unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, according to the company. Sales for the residences are expected to launch later this year, followed by an official groundbreaking.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with the Cipriani Family to bring the world-class hospitality brand to Miami Beach, marking its expansion beyond New York City and Milan,”  Joe Cayre of Midtown Equities and Arnaud Karsenti of 13th Floor Investments, said in a statement.

Casa Cipriani Miami’s architectural design is looking to evoke the splendor of the grand 1930s-era Art Deco hotels found along Collins Avenue through a modern interpretation creating a new landmark for Miami Beach, according to the company. The building is designed to reflect the timeless style of Cipriani, tracing back to the original Harry's Bar established by Giuseppe Cipriani in Venice in 1931.
