Kalahari Resorts & Conventions has launched the Kalahari Adventure Collection property tier defined by "distinctive, experience-driven accommodations," as the company describes them. The first destination under this banner is now underway in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., with a mi.x of elevated treehouses, lakefront cabins and villas, set to open in 2026 in the woods neighboring Kalahari’s flagship resort.
Work on the Treehouse Resort began earlier this month. Nelson Treehouse is leading the design and build of the custom treehouses.
Additionally, Daylene’s Supper Club—a 10-000-square-foot restaurant and another key portion of the project-is set to break ground on May 19.
“The Kalahari Adventure Collection is a natural extension of the Kalahari brand,” Todd Nelson, CEO and founder of Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, said in a statement. “While we’ll always be known for our indoor waterparks and convention experiences, we’re continuing to evolve—creating destination stays that are as unique as the memories they inspire. This new tier gives us room to dream bigger.”

The Wisconsin Dells location will have three types of accommodations:
- Treehouses—Elevated, design-forward units built by Nelson Treehouse
- Lake Cabins—Ground-level homes with natural surroundings and direct lake access
- Villas—Scenic accommodations along the waterfront
Next Steps
While the treehouses, cabins and villas in Wisconsin Dells are the first to carry the Adventure Collection name, Kalahari views this as the beginning of a larger evolution. Plans are underway to explore how this new brand tier could be adapted and expanded to future developments at other Kalahari locations nationwide.
“We’re always looking for ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible,” Nelson said. “The Adventure Collection opens the door to a new kind of resort experience—one that’s driven by place, purpose, and the idea that travel should spark something special. We can’t wait to see where it takes us next.”
