Keyah Real Estate Group, a hospitality developer with footprints in Miami and New York, has announced plans for a 262-key multistructure boutique hotel in Miami Beach, Fla. The project has just secured unanimous approvals from the City of Miami Beach Planning Board and the Historic Preservation Board.
The project will transform the assemblage of Haddon Hall at 1500 Collins and new construction at 1509-1515 Washington Avenue.
Serving the area's hotel movement and evolving residential growth, the property will have a rooftop pool and restaurant with ocean views, in addition to a ground-floor Garden Oasis Pool area and restaurant. The project will also have an elevated restaurant concept on the Washington Avenue side of the property, 6,500-plus-square-foot ballroom, event, and meeting spaces on Collins Avenue, along with a 10,000 square foot spa and wellness concept.
The architecture firm, Rottet Studio, has been tapped for the project. The hotel's architecture will blend elements of Streamline Moderne, Spanish Mediterranean Regionalism, and Miami Modern.
“Our mission with this project, like in all of our work, is to develop properties that seamlessly integrate with, and honor, the fabric of the cities and neighborhoods we serve," Xaver Kriechbaum, president of Keyah Real Estate Group, said in a statement. "We aim to combine state-of-the-art architecture with a commitment to sustainability in both construction and operations, while consistently raising the bar for innovation and quality.”
The project is a joint venture between Keyah Real Estate Group and Grup Peralada, a family office based in Barcelona, and is slated for completion in 2028. The group will soon announce a hotel operator and flag.
