New boutique hotel planned for Casper, Wyo.

A new boutique hotel in Casper, Wyo., is set to break ground this fall with an opening scheduled for early 2027.

The C.H. Bixby—which will be part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection—will be managed by Sioux Falls, S.D.-based KAJ Hospitality and developed by local firm Brick & Bond. Located in Casper’s Old Yellowstone District, C.H. Bixby will feature approximately 120 guestrooms and suites, a signature street-level restaurant, rooftop lounge and hot tub, lobby coffee shop and flexible meeting spaces. The design of the hotel will aim to reflect and enhance the architectural and cultural character of the Old Yellowstone District.

“C.H. Bixby is more than a hotel—it’s a story being written,” Aaron Johnson, CEO of KAJ Hospitality, said in a statement. “From the textures of the Wyoming landscape woven into the interiors, to curated guest experiences that celebrate Casper’s adventurous spirit, this property will feel both grounded and exceptional.”

This development is the latest chapter in the revitalization of the Old Yellowstone District, a former rail and industrial hub . Brick & Bond has played a pivotal role in transforming the district—most recently with the Yellowstone Apartments, a project that will bring modern residential living downtown, according to the company.

“C.H. Bixby is a cornerstone investment that reflects our belief in Casper’s future,” said Martin Axlund, COO of Brick & Bond’s Downtown Development Division. “At Brick & Bond, we see development not just as building structures, but as building community. This hotel is a continuation of that vision—one that invites people to experience the richness of downtown Casper and contributes to its long-term vibrancy.”
