Eight Form, the real estate development and asset management firm that has spearheaded the development of the AC Pasadena and InterContinental Riviera Palm Springs, appoints Zach Demuth as head of strategic growth and asset management. Demuth joins Eight Form from JLL, where he served as global head of hotels research, advising many of the world’s largest hotel investors on strategic capital allocation.
Previously, he spent over a decade with Marriott International, specifically in revenue management for the enterprise’s luxury brands. In his new role at Eight Form, Demuth will help optimize the company’s existing assets and lead the expansion of the group’s third-management platform. Demuth joins Eight Form following the recent hiring of Jared Pino as director of investments.
“Zach’s extensive hotel experience and deep industry relationships make him an ideal fit on our team as we look to meaningfully grow our portfolio while continuing to differentiate through design, execution, and culture,” Arjun Shokeen, Eight Form’s founder and managing partner, said in a statement. “He brings rigor and creativity to everything he does, and I couldn’t be prouder to have him join our team.”
“I am thrilled to join Eight Form at a pivotal moment in the company’s growth,” Demuth said. “I can’t wait to build on the organization’s long history of unlocking hidden value as we position ourselves for the next phase of expansion.”
