HVMG names VP of finance and accounting

Hospitality Ventures Management Group names Jessica Myers vice president of finance and accounting to fill a strategic role. Bringing corporate, above-property and property-level expertise with strategic leadership, Myers will lead the corporate team responsible for publishing monthly financial statements in her new role, ensuring the right processes are consistently executed to deliver timely and accurate financial statements.

“With nearly 30 years of hospitality accounting and finance experience, Jessica is the perfect complement to the HVMG team,” Robert Cole, founder, president and CEO of HVMG, said in a statement. “She led and provided oversight for the finance teams for some of the most iconic properties in the U.S., such as the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix and the La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs.  She has successfully steered hotels, both on-site and above-property, through all phases of the economy, and we are confident she will use this expertise to similarly navigate HVMG’s portfolio.”

Prior to joining HVMG, Myers served as vice president of finance for Pyramid Global Hospitality, where she led the finance teams for all the company’s branded hotels in the western region. In 2022, she played a key role in Pyramid’s overhaul of its accounting processes, introducing new systems and staffing models while working diligently with operations and property teams to stabilize and support these changes.

Before that, she held multi-property finance leadership roles in Houston and the Chicagoland area with Pearl Hospitality, White Lodging and Hyatt Corporation. Her hospitality journey began in 1996 as a PBX operator at the Hyatt Lodge on the McDonald’s Corporate Campus.
