My Place Hotels of America has expanded its presence in North Carolina with the opening of a new hotel in Garner. The My Place Hotel-Raleigh/Garner—which was developed by TGC Group and designed by The Richardson Design Group—represents the brand’s third hotel in the state. The hotel is owned by TGC Garner and will be managed by its operating arm, TGC Hospitality Management, which also third-party manages eight other properties for My Place, which includes more than 80 properties in its portfolio.

"We are thrilled to bring a My Place Hotel to Garner, N.C., a community experiencing remarkable growth and opportunity," Nick Esterline, TGC Group president and founder, said in a statement. "Garner's rapid development, strategic location near Raleigh and strong demand for extended-stay accommodations make it an ideal fit for our expansion. We look forward to serving the needs of business and leisure travelers in this vibrant market."

My Place Hotel-Raleigh/Garner is a new-build property with 63 rooms. The hotel is pet-friendly and offers the standard My Place extended-stay amenities, such as a full kitchen, free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour My Store grab-and-go market, on-site laundry and a computer with printing services. Guests can also access a grilling pavilion, as well as $0 Grubhub delivery fees for food delivered to the hotel.

The Garner area is known for Lake Benson Park, which offers 64-acres of trails, playgrounds, fishing and boating opportunities. In addition, the nearby White Deer Park & Nature Center, features 96 acres of woodlands, paved trails, nature exhibits, wildlife spotting and kid-friendly play zones, while the Neuse River Greenway Trail is part of a scenic, 27-mile paved greenway ideal for biking, running or walking along the river. Finally, the Downtown Garner Historic District is a walkable mix of preserved Queen Anne and Craftsman buildings, boutique shops and restaurants, according to the company.

"We chose to build a My Place Hotel in Garner, NC because it’s a community on the rise. With its rapid population growth, strategic location just minutes from Raleigh, and expanding economic and infrastructure development, Garner is becoming a key destination for business and leisure travelers alike," said Ryan Rivett, co-founder and CEO of My Place Hotels. "The town’s welcoming atmosphere, affordability, and strong demand for extended-stay options made it the perfect fit for our next My Place Hotel, especially given the limited extended-stay inventory in the area, creating a unique opportunity to meet an underserved need."
