Part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, The Ava Hotel in Paso Robles, Calif., is nearing completion ahead of a summer opening.
Located next to Paso Robles’ historic town square and in California’s Central Coast wine region, the 151-room boutique hotel is accepting reservations for stays beginning Sept. 22.
“The Ava Hotel was built to be both a destination and a dynamic gathering place for locals and visitors alike,” Matt Kleefisch, general manager of The Ava Hotel, said in a statement. “We’ve thoughtfully designed each space to reflect the spirit of Paso—its warmth, its creativity, its sense of place—while introducing standout amenities and experiences that haven’t existed here before, and we’re so excited to open our doors this summer.”

Spanning four stories, The Ava Hotel has 151 guestrooms and suites that incorporate layered textures, earthy tones, vintage accents and warm woods. Accommodations range from standard rooms to pool deck-level retreats and suites. Ground-level retail storefronts are designed to further activate the neighborhood, encouraging guests to explore and engage with the heart of downtown Paso Robles.
The property will have a signature dinner and weekend brunch restaurant EMRE developed by local Chef Julien Asseo, known for his Paso Robles restaurants Les Petites Canailles and S’Aranella, according to the company. In addition to EMRE, The Ava Hotel will debut Pine Street Bistro, an indoor-outdoor eatery located off the lobby. The hotel will also introduce Paso’s first rooftop bar and pool.
The Ava will have more than 3,000 square feet of event space, including the Tablas Ballroom and a pre-function area as well as the Rooftop Terrace.
