Repositioned Hollywood Grande debuts in Los Angeles

After a repositioning from the Thompson Hollywood, a lifestyle hotel known as The Hollywood Grande recently made its debut as part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. The  hotel—which is being managed by Ten Five Hospitality—was recently unveiled by real estate investment platform Machine Investment Group and institutional investor Taconic Capital. The hotel has been designed by Tara Bernerd & Partners with architecture by Steinberg Hart.

The property first opened in August 2021 and is located along Wilcox Avenue, near Hollywood and Vine. Spanning 11 stories, the hotel has 190 mid-century-inspired guestrooms, including 16 suites, and is home to Bar Lis, a rooftop lounge.

"The transition to The Hollywood Grande marks an exciting new chapter for this landmark property. As part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection, we’re elevating the guest experience with expanded global reach while preserving the distinct vision and energy that has defined the hotel since opening," Dan Daley, managing partner, Ten Five Hospitality, said in a statement.

“We are proud to announce that The Hollywood Grande is joining the Marriott Bonvoy and Autograph Collection. This exciting new partnership allows us to enhance our guest experience and welcome visitors from around the world. As we look toward the future, we remain dedicated to preserving the unique character and local spirit that has helped to make the hotel a special destination.” shares Frank Brosens, co-founder, Taconic Capital.

Guests are greeted by a trellis-covered walkway that leads into a tranquil lobby, where warm timber tones, lush greenery and a custom terrazzo floor are designed to set the tone for a refined yet inviting stay, according to the company. The interiors blend mid-century and contemporary furnishings with bespoke rugs and a terrazzo-topped bar.

Upstairs, floor-to-ceiling windows frame panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills, while rooms feature various luxury elements, including terrazzo bathrooms, Salt & Stone amenities, curated honor bars, luxurious linens, smart TVs and access to a 24-hour fitness studio, according to the company
