Sonesta International Hotels Corp. has opened the Signature Inn San Jose, Calif. The 47-room, upper-economy property is a conversion of the former Hotel Elan. The hotel is close to the San Jose International Airport, San Jose Convention Center and San Jose State University.
“Sonesta’s addition of the Signature Inn San Jose marks the third opening this year for this brand,” Keith Pierce, Sonesta’s EVP and president franchise & development, said in a statement. “Signature Inn by Sonesta is part of our continued expansion in the upper-economy segment across the United States and is reflective of our rapid portfolio growth and commitment to providing franchisees with the brands and tools that, as owners and operators ourselves, we view as essential to mutual success.”
“We are proud to announce to the opening of Signature Inn San Jose,” said Anil Patel, owner of Signature Inn San Jose and Signature Inn San Francsico. “This recently renovated hotel offers a distinct, retro-modern choice for travelers.”
