Hotel Lela Wilmington (N.C.), part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, has opened in North Carolina's port city. The property, owned by CN Hotels and operated by McKibbon Hospitality, is connected to the Tru by Hilton Wilmington, forming a dual-brand asset.
Design elements throughout the hotel incorporate driftwood tones, deep blues and soft neutrals. Public spaces include a 24-hour fitness center, outdoor heated saline pool with cabanas and firepits, 2,200 square feet of meeting space, and two private golf swing suites. The hotel's 97 guestrooms have large workstations, digital keys and connecting options.
The hotel also has a full-service restaurant, Paloma's at Lela, serving Latin-inspired fare and tequila-forward cocktails.
"From the moment you step into the lobby, featuring local artwork that captures Wilmington's historic downtown and serene beaches, you feel a connection to the city," Seraj Patel, vice president of CN Hotels, said in a statement. "We are thrilled to officially open our doors at Hotel Lela and share this unique space with our guests and the greater Wilmington community."
The property is close to Wilmington's Historic District, Wilmington International Airport, UNCW and Wrightsville Beach.
