Sustainable Acoustics: Xorel Artform by Carnegie Acoustic Solutiuons

Carnegie Acoustic Solutions has debuted the newly reimagined Xorel Artform, an acoustic solution that is designed to be planet-friendly.

At the core of this transformation is rPET-Core, an American-made acoustic substrate composed of a minimum of 60 percent recycled plastic. This upgrade is designed to bring a more sustainable foundation to all Xorel Artform panels, tiles, clouds, and baffles, including a Class A Fire-Rating, low VOC certification, an HPD and the opportunity for LEED building credits.

Finished in Carnegie’s acoustically transparent Xorel or Biobased Xorel textile—a Cradle to Cradle Certified, plant-based material derived from rapidly renewable sugarcane—the new Xorel Artform offers two substrate options: 1” rPET-Core (direct-mount NRC 0.70) and 2” rPET-Core (direct-mount NRC 0.80). Both substrate variations feature tackable 2D forms, providing added functionality alongside acoustic performance. The collection is available in over 350 Xorel colors, textures and patterns.
