Trinity Investments updates Connecticut Hyatt Regency

Trinity Investments has completed the $40 million renovation of the Hyatt Regency Greenwich in Old Greenwich, Conn., formerly the site of Conde Nast’s printing operation.

All of the 374 guestrooms were renovated and redecorated with signature beds, open storage areas and a dedicated workstation. Connecticut and the Long Island Sound inspired the color scheme and ambiance of the guestrooms. The new Residential Suite is designed for long-term stays. The accommodation includes a 600-square-foot room, a washer and dryer, a kitchenette, a dining table for four, two 65” televisions with streaming capabilities, a king-sized bed and a full sleeper sofa.

Townsend, the hotel’s bar, is set beneath an atrium and surrounded by 2,300 plants. Ingredients are procured from local farmers. The Library Lounge, meanwhile, is an “old-world, gentleman-style space” where guests can drink, play billiards, browse vintage Condé Nast publications or select a cigar from the  humidor.

The renovation also updated the 28,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces—including the junior ballroom and atrium.
