In Mexico, Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Cabo San Lucas is set to complete a transformation featuring expanded pools, reimagined dining and refreshed entertainment spaces in October.
The renewal of Villa del Palmar—an all-inclusive, luxury Mexican property managed by the Villa Group—began in 2024. Located on Médano Beach one mile from downtown Cabo San Lucas, the resort has 466 suites with private terraces or balconies, kitchen or kitchenette amenities and marble-accented bathrooms. The resort has seven restaurants, beachfront access and the Desert Spa, a 31,000-square-foot facility with 17 treatment rooms and hydrotherapy circuits.
“This project is dynamic, inspiring and rooted in the evolving desires of our guests. It symbolizes what we believe hospitality should be … not only a place to stay, but a canvas for unforgettable memories,” Cesar Madera, CEO of The Villa Group Resorts, said in a statement. “We are elevating every part of the journey, whether it’s families making memories by the pool, couples savoring a romantic sunset dinner or friends escaping to reconnect and explore.”
A new lobby is designed to set the tone upon arrival, while the open-air Tortugas Terrace and high-energy Sports Bar provide spaces to gather. Updated food & beverage concepts include the completely rebuilt Italian restaurant Bella California, and the Argentine-style steakhouse Carbon Grill has unveiled a fresh new look.
Newly expanded pool areas got larger pools, additional hot tubs and a new fire pit with lounge seating and daybeds. The children’s pool and splash zones were also updated.
