DerbySoft appoints new executives

DerbySoft—a technology company that connects suppliers with distributors and offers solutions for the hospitality and travel industries—has made executive changes to support its growth in the hospitality sector. As part of this growth strategy, DerbySoft has merged its Connectivity and Marketing Solutions Business Units to create a unified Hospitality Business Unit.

Duane Overgaard was appointed divisional CEO of the newly formed Hospitality Business Unit, continuing to report directly to Ted Zhang, CEO of DerbySoft. Ken Nishizu will serve as the divisional COO of the Hospitality Business Unit, responsible for the management of solution groups, which include customer support and operations.

"This is a pivotal moment in DerbySoft's journey as we continue to build an integrated travel tech ecosystem. By consolidating our Hospitality Business Units, we are positioning ourselves to provide more seamless and impactful solutions for our clients in the hospitality industry," Zhang said in a statement. "With Duane and Ken at the helm, we are confident that we will continue to accelerate our growth and market position while maintaining our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction."

In addition to the leadership changes, DerbySoft also promoted Toni Marti to head of marketing solutions. Since joining DerbySoft in 2015, Marti has played a critical role in building partnerships and reinforcing the company's standing within the industry. The Data Science team will now report directly to Marti, further streamlining the company's marketing and data-driven initiatives.

DerbySoft also added Andrew Rae as vice president, global business development, and Satyan Joshi as global head of performance. Rae joins DerbySoft to continue its growth strategy, having held positions with Sabre, HRG, and CWT. Rae will be based in Dallas, Texas. Joshi has worked in digital marketing for travel and client management and held key roles at Google and Amadeus. Based in London, he will support Marti in growing the performance team and driving DerbySoft's digital marketing initiatives.
