Alpine Realty Capital, a member of Hotel Brokers International, closed four hotel sales between late December 2024 and early January 2025.
Alpine completed the sale of the Baywatch Resort and the Beach Haus Resort in Traverse City, Mich.; the All Seasons Resort in Kalkaska, Mich.; and the Great Lakes Inn hotel in Mackinaw City, Mich. All of these properties are in northern Michigan resort towns and, according to the company, generate strong revenues during the peak summer travel season.
Alpine used the Hotel Brokers International marketing platform and its website to reach buyers from across the country. Through this network, Alpine was able to secure "numerous" offers.
“Northern Michigan hotels continue to see extremely strong interest from investors, continuing the trend which began upon the reopening of the northern Michigan economy in spring 2020,” Ed Walsh, president of Alpine Realty Capital, said in a statement. “The lodging demand in these drive-to markets remains robust even following the extraordinary revenue growth over the past few years” continued Walsh.
