Baywood Hotels acquires Hyatt Place Miami Airport-West/Doral

Baywood Hotels purchased the the 124-key Hyatt Place Miami Airport-West/Doral for an undisclosed amount. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed. From Hunter Hotel Advisors' Miami office, Robert Taylor, executive vice president, and Sophia Pittaluga, senior vice president, facilitated the transaction on behalf of an institutional seller.

The property is located 15 minutes from Miami International Airport. Set in the heart of Doral’s commercial and entertainment corridor, the hotel is near top attractions including the Miami International Mall, Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster Golf Course and iconic Miami destinations such as South Beach, Wynwood, Dolphin Mall and Marlins Park. Major corporate offices like UPS, FedEx and Boeing drive steady business demand, along with future growth from the upcoming Oasis of Doral mixed-use development.

The hotel has 1,127 square feet of meeting space across two rooms, a 24-hour fitness center, business center and outdoor pool. Dining options include the Breakfast Bar and The Placery, a lobby bar with a focused menu of guest favorites.
