Aksar Motel sold the recently renovated 55-room Quality Inn Lake City, Fla., to Maheshwara. DSH Hotel Advisors represented both the seller and the buyer. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed. The transaction was facilitated by Dennis Hopper, managing principal; Randy Taylor, senior vice president of investments; and Dylan Amin, vice president of investments.
"The sale of the Quality Inn Lake City, FL highlights our team's expertise in the hotel space. Hoteliers continue to place their trust in our team to deliver superior results, and we will continue to deliver and exceed expectations," Hopper said in a statement.
"Our team successfully executed a confidential transaction, securing multiple competitive offers from qualified investors across the U.S.," Taylor said. "We achieved the seller's goals for their exit while leaving significant upside for the buyer to be extremely successful at this property. We continue to work with both domestic and international investors actively seeking hotel assets in the Southeast."
The transaction generated what DSH described as "significant" buyer interest, with more than 200 signed CAs, ultimately achieving healthy market pricing while leaving substantial upside for the new owner. The property's strategic location off of I-75, recent renovations, and strong market fundamentals made it a highly sought-after investment, according to Amin.
