Marcus & Millichap brokers the sale of the 71-room Country Inn & Suites hotel in Murrells Inlet, S.C. for $5.95 million. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed.
“This was a unique opportunity to assist an out-of-state owner in navigating a competitive market,” Associate Terrence Jefferson said in a statement. “We generated significant interest with more than 15 tours and over 10 offers, ultimately securing a 1031 exchange buyer. The Murrells Inlet area continues to attract investor attention due to its proximity to Myrtle Beach, strong RevPAR, and limited competition compared to neighboring submarkets.”
Jefferson, Jack Davis, Joce Messinger and Eric Webster, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Charleston office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor.
Built in 1998, the five-story Country Inn & Suites is on 1.14 acres at 1303 Tadlock Drive. The hotel has 71 guestrooms, along with amenities including an indoor pool, laundry facilities and complimentary daily breakfast. The property is approximately 11 miles from Myrtle Beach International Airport.
