Marcus & Millichap facilitated the sale of the 42-room AmericInn hotel property in Rice Lake, Wis. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed.
“This transaction stood out due to the buyer’s close proximity to the property, which enables a more hands-on ownership style,” Jon Ruzicka, first vice president investments, said in a statement. “That level of involvement is expected to strengthen daily operations and deepen guest relationships. With modest updates planned, the hotel will continue to offer the clean, comfortable experience travelers value. The Rice Lake hospitality market remains strong, with steady tourism and ongoing demand for well-run, midscale accommodations.”
Ruzicka, Joseph Ferguson and Reed Gizinski, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Minneapolis office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer. Todd Lindblom is the firm’s broker of record in Wisconsin.
The two-story AmericInn is located on 1.26 acres, off Highway 53. The property has a heated indoor pool, complimentary breakfast and business center. Built in 1994, the hotel benefits from steady demand from business and leisure travelers due to its location near Rice Lake Weighing Systems, Marshfield Clinic, the Red Cedar River and Turtleback Golf Course.
