Ruckus Networks unveils new AI, Wi-Fi solutions

Rounding out its portfolio for the hospitality industry, network connectivity provider CommScope has debuted new AI-driven Wi-Fi 7 and Gen AI-based solutions from Ruckus Networks. The portfolio of solutions provides full-service, midscale and limited-service hotels a range of connectivity options for delivering customized guest wifi experiences that meet the unique demands of each market segment, according to the company.

“Ruckus has worked with leading hotels around the world to raise the bar for wireless connectivity and guest experiences,” Bart Giordano, SVP and president, NICS, CommScope, said in a statement. “These cutting-edge Ruckus Solutions reflect our commitment to helping our hospitality customers and partners scale their networks, reduce operational costs and improve performance and reliability through AI-driven network assurance systems. We offer a purpose-driven solution for every tier of the hospitality spectrum.”

The Ruckus solutions are designed to work together seamlessly, enabling businesses to pick and choose the right combination for their specific needs. LAN service providers are enabled to provide more customized solutions to their hospitality clients, according to the company. Additionally, Ruckus offers a guided option with pre-configured bundles for full-service, midscale and limited-service hotels.

The next generation of the Ruckus Hospitality Suite includes a number of platforms, such as Ruckus One Hospitality Edition, which aims to enable automated onboarding and dynamic network access based on guest identity. Brand 360 Dashboard, meanwhile, is an enhanced dashboard designed to give brands a global view with real-time visibility into how each property is performing, measuring compliance with brand standards, quality of guest connectivity and the effectiveness of network service partners, according to the company.

The AI Onboarding Assistant is designed to improve efficiency, productivity and accuracy while creating and deploying configurations and managing policy enforcement to enable properties to operate within brand guidelines.

In addition, two new APs—New Ruckus H670 Indoor AP and New Ruckus R370 Indoor AP—join an already existing AP solution. The new offerings are designed to provide a complete portfolio with options that provide performance and price tiers to match every hospitality market segment. Each option supports faster speeds, ultra-low latency, increased capacity and reliable connections to empower hotels to deliver high-performance connectivity experiences even in the most challenging RF environments, according to the company.
